Dear Commissioner Mr. Vella at European Union : Shut down ivory sales!

Dear Commissioner Mr. Vella :

This is my message to  You: In days, a crucial global summit could call for an end to all ivory sales everywhere, helping to save our elephants from extinction. 

African countries are pushing hard to close a giant loophole that lets ivory be sold domestically, even though the international trade is banned!

They've got powerful supporters - the US is on board, and China is ready to crack down on ivory sales at home.

Outrageously, the EU could derail the whole plan.
 
Please use your influence in Europe to win this for the elephants!
